We have loved Mates of State<\/strong><\/a>, led by husband and wife team Jason Hammel and Kori Gardner, for quite some time.\u00a0\u00a0 They routinely deliver keyboard-dominated pop masterpieces overlayed with bright voices and production.\u00a0 Adding to the allure are lyrics that maturely explore monogamous (and other) relationships.\u00a0 It’s a heady mix, but subtly so. <\/a>Their albums “Bring it Back” <\/strong>and “Re-Arrange Us” <\/strong>are amongst our all-time favorites.<\/p>\n
