It’s that time of year again.\u00a0 Whether you’re at Cal Poly, Westmont, UC Irvine<\/strong>, San Marcos <\/strong>or The World Indoor Championships in Istanbul<\/strong>–it’s Track and Field<\/strong> season.\u00a0\u00a0 We’re extremely partial to the sport.\u00a0 No judges, ya know?\u00a0 This ain’t no ice-skating, diving or gymnastics.\u00a0 To add to last year’s<\/strong><\/a> pre-race mix, check out Edinburgh’s Django Django<\/strong> and the title track to their recent album, Default<\/strong>.\u00a0 With it’s “you thought you’d set the bar,” “take one for the team,” and “you missed the starting gun,” and driving beat, the song seems a perfect addition to your pre-race warm-up.<\/p>\n

To make the video for Default<\/strong><\/em>, drummer David Maclean<\/strong> printed out over 4,000 frames to add paint to each of them.\u00a0 Check it out below.\u00a0 The band is one of the most anticipated acts at SXSW<\/strong> next week.<\/p>\n
