The surprise of the year at Lefort is how much we love Junip’s new self-titled album.  We haven’t to date been big Jose Gonzalez fans, but combine him with some other Swedish dudes, and it all comes together in the form of Junip.  We have had the album on repeat this summer at Chez Lefort, with its hypnotic grooves and hipster mantras.  To get a feel, check out Junip’s recent set at KEXP.  And go pick up one of the best albums of 2013.
